Students at the my elementary school are truly scientists. They investigate, explore and collect data. They draw conclusions and make predictions. They are kind to each other and share ideas amongst different student teams, a process we call consulting. One key focus in all grades is observation. Don't tell one of our student scientists there is no nature in the inner city! From up-close studies of plants and insects and observations of tracks, fur and feather, these students can tell you otherwise.
