Different types of seating options in my classroom will help all learners feel success! Often times, children who move around a lot, stand, and wiggle are the students who lack confidence in school because it is challenging for them to act "as expected." Education has evolved throughout the decades, but the student workspaces have not seen much change. Flexible seating in my classroom will help students have choice as to how they best learn. The lap desk will help students who do their best work on the floor. The wobble stools will help the students who like to move around and wiggle while they sit and learn, and the wobble cushion will do the same but can be used on the floor or on a student chair at a desk or table. They will be able to move around however they need to in order to do their best thinking. These choices will lead to students learning and build confidence!
