Our school is a Title 1 school, and our kids are at a disadvantage compared to non Title 1 schools, but they're amazing. All they need are a few extra resources to help them be the best them that they can be. Our classroom theme this year is "Dream, Believe, and Discover." I want my kids to know and understand that they can DREAM about being whatever they want to be. BELIEVE, that with hard work, they can achieve their goals. DISCOVER, the fight inside of them to get to their destination. In order to get there, I plan to introduce the use of technology early. I would like the students to learn how research a variety of subjects in science, social studies, research their own ancestry, or research different kinds of careers and so forth. It would be great for them to learn how to work cooperatively. The need for an extra laptop would make working in groups and researching a lot easier and no group would be left out.
