In our classroom the students have access to several online resources. They work in Splashmath, Fusion Science, Achieve 3000, and other online sources to help aide in their learning. The headphones will allow the students to listen to the reading, the lessons, and all the sounds that are involved in the programs without disturbing their neighbor. In Fusion Science the students will be watching interactive lessons and performing online STEM labs. During these lessons and labs there is a narrator that is reading to them and assisting them throughout the entire program. The headphones will allow the students to work without the narrator disturbing other students who may be working their way through the program slower. In Splashmath.com, the students can hear the sounds when they evaluate problems correctly or incorrectly. There are games that they earn when they answer questions correctly. For those students who need to hear the sounds, the headphones will allow them to listen without disturbing those around them. In Achieve 3000, students are reading articles and answering questions about the article. Some articles allow the students to have it read aloud to them. The head phones allow those who need this extra help to receive it without being embarrassed.
