We want to have materials, workshops, and classroom lessons that bring this idea of cultural understanding and empowerment to life. This workshop will help our students discover more of themselves and give them the chance to tell their own story. As seniors, our students need to be prepared for the world at large. This workshop will not only help them see themselves, but will help them see the beauty in others. Diversity and inclusiveness need to be at the core of all social and emotional learning, and our school is proud to empower our students to be accepting and loving scholars. This workshop includes classroom instructional time, materials to work with after the class, and literature that remains in the classroom for our students year round.
