This learning rug will help my students during our classroom meeting time each morning, our large group carpet time, our interactive read aloud times, as well as independent reading times. This learning rug will create a more inviting atmosphere. It has calming colors, blue and green, which have proven to be calming colors to use in the classroom to help children focus. This rug will help with games, activities, classroom organization, and classroom management. I hope this rug will put a smile on my student's faces and make them excited about coming to the carpet for the activities I mentioned above.
