By increasing engagement, students succeed. One of the most important things we can do as educators is to provide choice for our students to express their needs. With the use of flexible seating chairs, my students will have autonomy in where they sit, which provides an opportunity for ownership over their learning. With these three chairs, I can begin my journey into providing spaces for students to thrive in their work spaces. By providing an alternative or flexible seating option in my classroom, students will have the ability to make good choices for themselves, and grow as readers and learners along the way.
