Wobble stools and scoop chairs will allow students to move while channeling their energy on remaining focused and attentive to the task at hand. While working independently or in a small group this project will help my students to be more mobile without becoming a distraction to others. Many students have a hard time staying focused while sitting all day. Wobble stools are comfortable and fun! This is a benefit to not only students with identified needs but for all students who will get the chance to use them. Independent reading is a daily occurrence in the classroom. Scoop chairs provide a comfortable place to sit to enjoy a book. They also allow students to be in a slightly upright position which makes holding the book easier. Because of the time constraints our curriculum puts on our daily physical activities, the use of Wobble stools and scoop chairs will enable students to see how effective physical movement is in engaging the brain and allowing activity in the classroom while learning. Your donation will give my students the opportunity to integrate movement and learning which will undoubtedly enhance their academic success.
