In an effort to supply students with a new challenge to widen their instrumental knowledge, our district has added a guitar course. Unfortunately, our small-school budget has not allowed us to purchase a classroom set of guitars; therefore, students will be expected to supply their own. Given the low-income status of our population, I have realized that this will be a significant challenge. It is because of this that I am requesting help from Donors Choose. By having a classroom set of guitars, I will be able to give any student who desires to gain a greater knowledge of music the opportunity to do so.
