The addition of two Chromebooks to our classroom would allow more students access to technology in all subject areas throughout our entire school day. Chromebooks allow students to utilize the different ways that appeal to their learning strategies within their basic curriculum. During our reading workshop block, more students will have access to their individualized reading level and interests through websites like Raz-Kids, MobyMax and Teach Your Monster to Read. It is also my goal to create a writing workshop opportunity giving the students ownership by typing, revising, editing and finally publishing their work in a real world way. Online math resources offer supplements to aid students in becoming more fluent on concepts, strategies and application. Two more Chromebooks would allow students to use QR codes to access simulations and videos to clarify learning in every subject area.
