It is my hope that by supplying my students with a class set of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" books that I will inspire a love of reading in them that was inspired in me by the same book. Sixth Grade is a MAGICAL time where students are able to learn more about themselves. They are in a new place, with new people, and they have a lot to learn, just like Harry in this book! Students will be reading the book, studying new vocabulary, discussing the book in literary groups, and relating Harry's life to their own in small essays. Please help me make sixth grade MAGICAL for my students!
