S.T.E.A.M. is the future! Both girls and boys alike should have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a high interest activity where they expand their knowledge and have some good ole fun. The children in my afterschool STEAM club are enthusiastic to learn and play with the robots. In our second year, I'd like to emphasize coding and programming of our VexIQ robot. The two laptops I'm requesting will improve the students' ability and versatility to program the robots. During competitions the students will have the option to tweak programming to meet their immediate needs. They will also be able to track their progress against the other teams using critical mathematical and analytical skills.
