There are many different things that we could do in the classroom if we had a set of Acer tablets. Having an Acer tablet allows you to get apps from the Amazon App store. Some examples of apps my students could use are explained below: 1) Raz Kids: Students can read books on their interest level and reading level. Teachers can customize lessons for their students and track student progress. 2) BrainPop Jr.: Brain pop is an app that shows students engaging videos centered around current events and content. BrainPop also creates quizzes based on the videos that students watch. 3) Spelling City: Spelling city is an app that allows students to practice their spelling words by playing interactive games and taking practice quizzes. In addition to apps, I can also create web quest projects and research projects on the Internet. By donating to this project, you will ensure that my students have open access to technology every day at school. You will be giving a second grade child an experience that they wouldn't have had before. My students will get to learn how to be fluent in technology, and I will be able to design more engaging and rigorous lessons.
