Almost every student art project last year incorporated construction paper. We made little model playgrounds by bending strips of different colored paper. We created Picasso self-portraits cutting out facial features from paper. We constructed santa hats using red and white construction paper and even painted dragon eyes on neutral grey construction paper. It is by far my most used resource as an art teacher. With this supply of construction paper my students will be set for the entirety of the school year. Having a broad selection of colors to choose from will allow my students the opportunity to customize their projects.
