We will be starting school online with speech therapy provided through Zoom meetings. Zoom meetings can be difficult for students who use alternative communication. This spring I found Boom card activities and printable packets on Teachers Pay Teachers and my students loved them! Even the students who could not manipulate the activities on the screen loved it when their parent or sibling engaged with them. The packets help carry over the activities from our Zoom meetings or provide the activities if they cannot access the computer for one reason or another. "Variety is the spice of life" and keeps us from being bored, too! Although I have purchased some Boom cards and packet materials, I need to work on keeping these students interested and learning with a variety of things we can communicate about.
