Flexible seating can come in many different forms in the classroom environment. Students can sit on rugs, stools, buckets seats, beanbags, cushions, or yoga balls. I would like to have many of these options throughout our classroom this year. The more choices the students have to make, the more independent they will come. Beanbags will used in our classroom library to create a comfortable reading environment. I want to get the students excited about reading. The classroom library will be more inviting with beanbags, and any other flexible seating. Students will look forward to this center during reading rotations, and become better readers.
