As a first year teacher it is equally important the students in my classroom have the same basic advantage of having supplies available to enhance their learning as they would have being in an established classroom with supplies built up. I am requesting scissors, glue, folders, pencils, and erasers for my students. I am also requesting storage stackers for each group of desks in my room. These storage stackers will house all of the supplies for that group of students so all of their things are in one centralized location. It is also important to be able to keep my classroom clean and germ free to help keep my students as healthy as possible. To do this, I am requesting Clorox Disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and tissues. It will take some time and several years to build up a classroom, but I have to start somewhere.
