I finally have a room to serve 4th through 6th graders with speech/language deficits! In order to maximize our small space, the stand-up drawer organizer, over-the-door pocket organizer and desk organizers will alleviate confusion with paperwork for students and encourage their independence to locate work samples and/or materials. Command hooks also conserve space and are a handy tool for locating highly specific items. Therapy goals can also hang from the hooks increasing students’ awareness of individualized goals. Dry erase markers and laminated sleeves help reduce waste and allow recycling and reuse of materials. They also work great on the therapy table as divider lines for students with spacial awareness difficulty and other visual supports for individual students. A laminator also is a huge asset that allows me to reuse materials. By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase academic achievement
