The band students will benefit greatly both in their individual skill development as musicians as well as their understanding of ensemble skills. This will empower the students to have more successful auditions for district and state honor bands and clinics. Also, the group will sound better in concert, having learned some of the ensemble skills taught in this book. Daily use of a good method book is one of the foundations of a successful concert program, and when the concert band improves all aspects of the band program improve. This will trickle down to improve small ensembles, marching band and may even eventually facilitate the development of a jazz band.
