I am trying to grow readers and leaders with a very tiny collection. It is my hope that adding the Newbery books and others is that I can provide a more diverse reading experience. By giving them unlimited choices to choose from. As a dual-language TAG school, it is imperative that we teach them about the world and how to become better leaders for the world tomorrow. Middle school is one of the most important times in a students life it is when they start to see themselves as an adult and start expressing themselves. I want to give my students an opportunity to find themselves in a book and learn how to grow and become the leader that I know is within them. These books would keep them reading and only help enrich their life and experience that they will have.

About my class
