Having a set of Google Chromebooks will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. I have anywhere from 8-16 students in my classroom and I would like students to work in partners and in groups to participate in the Unique Curriculum and Attainment Math. Students can use the Google Chromebooks to interact with students and discuss common life and math skills learned in the classroom. Today's students are digital natives and they need to be exposed to completing more work online. It is an easy way to engage them and reach students in today's technological world. This initiative will make a difference because, as I said before, these students are the digital natives. Our classrooms are not yet at the appropriate technological level to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
