Teaching children who are young, it is important for them to be actively engaged in their learning, so materials such as counting blocks, magnifying glasses, and updated reading materials help them do so. Investing in high-quality instructional materials will benefit students in the long run. My students have been very interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and this has been partly due to their participation in a new Legos Club where they build legos and learn how to code. New clubs and resources are helping students discover their interests early on which is amazing! With their new curiosity in STEM, new resources are needed to keep students engaged and excited. With STEM taking off, these resources will encourage them to pursue these interests and help them get a head start.
