My project is to provide ample and adequate storage space in addition to desks and lockers. Students need room for resources; the closer the better. The At-Your-Seat Storage Sacks are super-handy bags for the back of students’ chairs. Little learners can put essential supplies right within reach…and keep their desks clutter-free! The chair sacks will aid the students by allowing them to efficiently utilize their space and therefore time. In the past my students had chair packs and they loved them. The chair packs were yet another personal and private resource which increased their sense of ownership and responsibility. This added item allowed the children to be more organized with their school books, notebooks and materials. When resources and supplies are organized one can easily find materials, and there are less interruptions. We can all maximize learning not looking time. There are no missing writing journals, folders or math books for example. You would be surprised what things first graders can make disappear by shoving, cramming and packing into the deep corners of a desk! The Regular At-Your-Seat Storage Sacks will allow teachers to get into and stick to any lesson plan, will allow the class to transition easily from one lesson to another and will give each child a sense of ownership and accountability for taking care of their very own seat storage sack full of their school supplies and learning materials.
