These books will help keep students interested in reading. They will also give each student an opportunity to complete books and build their reading skills. Many of our students do not have these reading resources at home. This will allow students to be excited about reading. The Diary of a Wimpy Kids books help get students interested in reading. They provide visuals so the students can better see and understand the story. These books will be used in independent reading and daily silent reading in class. Students will complete creative projects from these books. The students perform better when they are reading books they are interested in.
