About my class

My students will be able to use these tablets for multiple tasks; the tablets will become a source for books and other literature that are not available in print or are written in a foreign language, help with individual projects, assist with organizing information that students are gathering and help with creating presentations. In addition, students will use the tablets to collaborate in research projects and presentations. Students will have the opportunity to become historians for the school year by taking pictures and compiling them into a class yearbook and graduation presentation. Students will be empowered by activities which will promote collaboration and school pride. In addition, students will have an opportunity to use technology in a way that can help them learn now and in the future. I would like students to use technology for much more than gaming or learning applications. Students will have technology for creating and developing unique and personal projects, so they can feel ready and empowered as they grow. This technology will excite students and provide real-application of communication through various platforms.
