At our school we promote a cohesive environment where all our students feel safe and welcomed. The items we are requesting will be used as raffle prizes to support the Social Emotional Learning, Social Awareness, 3.B. We have many students who show up to school late on a daily basis; missing breakfast and morning routine. Many of our students depend on the free meals they get at school to keep them going. We will be implementing a no-tardy raffle drawing each month for those students who are on time to school every day. Covid has caused families to not take school serious. We want our students to understand that despite Covid and the different opportunities to learn in the past, school is essential and a must in order to be a productive citizen when they are grown.
