Folders and poly sheets will be used to create a data folder. Students will use data folders to track their own progress towards fact fluency goals and strategies they are utilizing. A bookcase is needed to provide storage space that students can easily access their data folders and materials. Students will be able to discover, play games, tutor each other, and practice math skills with dominoes, magnets, timers, and an easel. Students enjoy a game called "Domino War" by taking turns turning over a domino, adding or multiplying the two ends, then see who has the greatest number. Many of my young learners are fidgety and chair bands may help to keep their busy feet occupied.
