Fifth grade in a year where students really transition into more higher levels of learning. This includes sitting for longer periods of time. Having the option for flexible seating gives them the opportunity to wiggle and move without being disruptive. This helps the students achieve independent control over the stress of trying to sit still. Having three options lets them choose- how will I work best today? Some students just want to stand and stretch, this is where the standing desk gives them that choice. The wiggle seats and exercise balls give them the chance to stay seating with the option to just wiggle and move.
