These books will be incredibly helpful in fostering a love of reading in my 6th grade students. After taking a reading interest survey on the second day of school, I found that many of my students have not found any books they like. I am convinced that these students can and will find a book or series that they enjoy. As a new elementary teacher, I do not yet have a classroom library or the money to fund one all on my own. I am determined to find relevant and interesting books for each of my students so they might see the joy in reading a great book.
