Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. We all work best in environments that are comfortable to us and I have found that to be extremely true with my students. Having more options for flexible seating in my classroom will allow my students to be more comfortable in the classroom and know they have a choice in their learning. Allowing students to make choices around their learning helps them become more motivated and responsible. My students are more engaged and excited about their work when they are given the choice of flexible seating. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them more seating options to find what works for and motivates them. The wobble stools and balls are great for helping get wiggles out and incorporate easy and non-distracting movement when students need it. The stools allow the students to move them to various points in the room that work for them. Lastly, the light light covers will help create a calm environment for this flexible learning. Choice positively affects student motivation and work. I would love the opportunity to provide my students with these choices to help make this school year the best yet!
