The globe will be vital when teaching my students about the world around them during their History lesson. When students are able to see where they live versus where other children live in different parts of the world, it makes it come alive. Our students deserve to be exposed to other cultures. TIME for Kids is one of a kind! Much like Time for adults, TIME for Kids is a kid-friendly version of the real thing. The articles are relevant and engaging. Articles like these, promote open group discussions. There are also interactive questions on the back that assist the students with higher thinking skills. Unfortunately, we don't have an art class at my school. This is where I come in! All of the crayons, stapler and other art supplies will be used so my students can enjoy art in my class. I believe The Arts are just as vital as the Academics. I am a form believer in Anchor Charts! These help my students remember important information as they move along in my class. I have chosen special mark to help my anchor charts come to life. We have the opportunity to use Chromebooks in our classroom and in order for my students to work independently, I have chosen for them to have earbuds. This allows them to concentrate on their own work and not get distracted by 26 other friends!
