First Graders develop the tools they need for reading through printed text. The classroom library is a phenomenal resource for students to read various types of literature. When a student learns to read and loves reading, they are able to explore a whole new world. Books provoke curiosity, vocabulary enrichment and language and literacy development. Using a classroom library with leveled texts, students are able to read and explore books they can understand and develop their imagination. With a classroom book shelf, students will be able to find their level of books with ease and enjoy a relentless culture of reading.
