Clay is not something we can accommodate within our yearly budget, so with these materials I can share my passion of working with this medium amongst my students. I know my students will be just as excited (if not more) to work with a material that is so hands on and tactile. With the current Art budget we focus more on 2 Dimensional art and not so much 3Dimensional, the clay will support our study in the 3D forms. The air dry clay will bring the students creativity come to life! Students will learn to work with both 2D and 3D art forms this year with the help of this project. All kids (even adults) love to create using clay. This project will allow us to "play" in a new kind of way within the Art room!
