I would like the students in my room to have flexible seating when they are working in groups and individually in our classroom. This allows them to be more productive and meets the different needs of the students. Getting away from old fashioned traditional seating during the course of their day helps the kids with productivity and success. I want to offer a variety of options such as ottomans and stools to meet the varying needs of the students. The other back to school item my students need are quality pencils and a good sharpener to use during the school day for their classroom work.
