I am requesting fraction and place value magnetic manipulatives. Visual aids are such a help for my students. They can be manipulated by the students and me. They are large enough for both a group lesson and small group instruction. The magnetic fraction circles and bars, and place value blocks will be used as a teaching tool, and give an opportunity for students to feel and observe for themselves what these numbers represent. These magnetic manipulatives will engage students in hands-on activities involving both easy concepts and more involved concepts including parts of a fraction, comparing, and ordering fractions.
