Speaking and writing in a new language are challenging skills to learn, but it is also incredibly rewarding to find that you can express yourself in another language. With these materials, students will be able to practice and gain confidence in speaking and writing in Spanish. A variety of materials will give students a variety of ways to practice speaking and writing in Spanish, meeting their diverse needs and individual interests. Here are some ideas I have for using the materials. Students can carry the clipboards around the classroom as they interview each other in Spanish and record their findings. I plan on covering one side of the clipboards with the adhesive dry erase decal so that the clipboards can be used as individual dry erase boards too. Students can plan out what they want to say on their dry erase board. With the headphones, students can then record themselves speaking Spanish and listen to how they sound. I know that my students will be ready to take on the challenge of learning to speak and write in Spanish with these materials.
