My students are in Pre-K and are 3 to 5 years old. My students are considered "at risk" by the state of Tennessee due to socioeconomic background, special needs (speech, autism), and familial history (parental drug-use, incarceration, etc). One hundred percent of my students fall below the poverty rate. They are in my class in the hope that they will learn the social, emotional, and academic skills needed to succeed in school and in life.
