These supplies will provide my students with their basic needs to learn and thrive throughout this school year. Our classroom space is our second home, mine and the kiddos alike. We are asking for supplies including pencil boxes, crayons and scissors to aide in comfortability. Knowing that we have what we need every single day to fulfill our learning processes and ignite creativity would be magical. Furthermore, my goal for this group of students is to teach responsibility and ownership by being able to provide each child with their own set of supplies. In addition to taking ownership over their own things while moving about our room and participating in different types of activities, we are asking for some buddies to go along with all our favorite books. The Elephant and Piggie plushes will be such a hit as that series is one that keeps our faces smiling daily. We love Elephant and Piggie along with Dogman, Fly Guy and Pete the Cat. Piggie especially is the best at teaching lessons about friendship, patience and kindness. Ultimately, funding this project for supplies will not only support a group of fantastic students but ease my mind in knowing that each day they are provided in all their basic needs.
