These yoga mats will help my students begin a yoga practice that will help them to be able to focus their energy as well as minimize stress. Often times students have struggles that as adults we can't imagine. I hope that giving students an outlet to relieve stress, focus on their breathing, and meditation will give them to tools to help them be more successful. There have been several success stories at other schools who have offered yoga as a part of their school day, and they have seen a reduction in behavior issues, and a boost in student morale.
