My Kindergarten students learn in many different ways and have different needs when it comes to their behavior, focus and engagement inside my classroom. These flexible seating choices can provide my students with a sense of ownership which will increase their engagement and create a fun classroom environment. Reserach shows that flexible seating increses students engagement which will help eliminate distractions and behavioral issues in my classroom. I'm requesting a variety of flexible seating options that will create a classroom full of choice, engagement, focus and fun! These options include wobble stools, pillows and comfortable floor seating from Lakeshore Learning. Flexible seating will meet the needs of all my students to help them thrive academically, emotionally and socially in our class. There will still be traditional seating in my classroom, but I am in need of other choices for my students. These choices will allow them to be comfortable while moving in a safe way.
