We need hands-on learning activities such as the gears and body movement cards which will engage students with new experiences and skills. Building objects uses more than fine-motor skills. It builds social skills as well higher level thinking. The outside toys will be used to engage students in play and get their bodies moving. Outside play is important for young child to help with development as well as social skills. The storage bins will help keep the classroom neat and orderly, as well as safe. This will also allow us to share our resources with the other students in our grade level. Safety and sharing is important not only in our classroom but our school as well.
