I am a 1st year teacher in Baltimore City and I'll have a class full of fun, energetic, eager to lear 5 and 6 year old kindergarteners this upcoming fall. For most, it will be their first time in a classroom and I would like to provide them with the best experience of learning and exploring possible. My students (like myself) are growing up in the inner city of Baltimore and should be able to experience schooling like their counterparts in surrounding counties. These new scholars deserve a chance at excellence and that is what Ms. Holt is here to provide. Our classroom has minimal technology and I would love to be able to incorporate that into our routine. There are tons of reading and math interventions that would be super useful to them and they would also be able to use technology to research and record themselves. My goal is to provide a culture rich environment through a variety of stimuli.
