I have chosen wobble cushions and bean bag chairs as flexible seating options for my class. Students will use these seating options to work in small groups where communication will be important. They may be working on group projects, problem solving tasks, or independent work. They will also have these options for independent reading time which is an integral part of our school day. While students have choices for books to read, now they will also have choices for the most comfortable seating for them, which may vary day to day! That has certainly been my experience as a teacher! I love to read in many different places. Now students will experience that choice and grow in their love for reading!
