Kindergarten students enjoy visiting reading stations daily. It allows them to independently practice many skills and have fun doing so. This listening station will give my students the experience of listening to different authors read while they themselves build their reading fluency and their love for reading. By donating to our project, you will be helping them create a learning environment in which reading will be enjoyed by all my students. Before placing any new materials in the classroom I model and the students watch with excitement. It has been my experience that kindergarteners love going to the listening station, helps with reading fluency and students love listening to a book that has been read by the teacher!

About my class
