I am a teacher of the visually impaired or commonly acronymed TVI. My primary role in the school is to provide direct and/or consultative special education services for students with low vision and/or blindness. Some specifics of my job include teaching compensatory skills including Braille, Nemeth code, and low vision and blind-specific technology, as well as providing accessible instructional materials to ensure equitable access to curriculum I like to say I have the best job in the world. I get to travel across my district and work with incredible students and the most supportive staff and administration. Thank you for looking at my page and helping my students.
