Students will be provided the opportunity to start each day engaging in hands-on, engaging, STEM activities. Students will have time to freely explore materials while working with classmates. This will improve students' communication and problem-solving skills. Students will also be learning to share materials, take turns, and listen to one another's ideas. Building materials like Straw Connectors building sets and others included in my project provide students with challenging activities that are also inclusive of all children. Students will improve fine-motor skills, as well as hand-eye coordination through the use of manipulatives. Puzzles like Tangrams develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Items like the Geometric Shape Template Set reinforce mathematical concepts, while allowing students to be creative. Through building, creating, and having fun students will begin their days at school in a positive way!
