Students often struggle with geometry concepts. When working with tangible items, students are able to develop a deeper understanding of concepts (such as angles). The old saying, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn," has never been truer than in mathematics. Working with AngLegs allows students to be involved in their learning. Difficult concepts such as transverse angles become easier when students can touch, see, and change angles. Involving students in their learning with hands on work, not only engages the students, but it creates a learning environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes.
