We have had limited seating choices in our classroom. By adding flexible seating options, students will have a choice of where to sit. Flexible seating will give them the comfort they need as well as giving them the choice of what kind of learning space works for them. Studies have shown that a flexible seating classroom improves participation, behavior, and grades. Editing the classroom space to better meet students' needs will have an impact on their learning experience. I strive to see students enjoying learning by choosing when, where, and how they learn. Sitting in a chair at a desk all day can be uncomfortable and tiring. These new stools and seats will provide more comfort and choice in the classroom.
