The dry erase boards are double-sided and will allow me to use them with a variety of topics. The blank side can be used with daily Do Nows and can also be used as an alternative to paper and pencil activities. Students show their work, and it is more easily viewed by the teacher for quick assessment. The grid side of the board can be used when the students are learning about the coordinate plane. Students can create a plane, label the x axis and y axis along with labeling the different quadrants. The boards enhance participation in both whole class and small group activities, keeps students on task, and encourages disengaged students to be actively involved in lessons.
