As a teacher in a large urban school district, my students often do not receive equal opportunities. My students are not able to go on field trips or participate in complex labs like their peers in other school, due to lack of funding. I want my students to have as many memorable experiences in school as possible, especially in my science classroom. Science was my favorite class growing up because of the opportunities it provided for hands-on learning. I want to allow my students to feel the same love for learning in my classroom. In order for this to happen, it will require me buying supplied and materials. Any contributions would be helpful to help me make this the best year yet.

About my class
